Allow me to share a bit about my background and what led to a few of these testimonies.
Growing up I couldn't do enough with a camera, and was known as the one who 'prinkles around with pictures'. In high school I focused on Visual Communication, causing my love in
working with photos and videos to grow. As I got older, it was always in my mind and heart
to do something with pictures.
I'm also one who loves music. Playing saxophone in high school, along with singing in different groups here-and-there, only begins to show how much I love listening to and working with music.
When the thought of making slide shows came along, my mind took off with possibilities.
I never stopped thinking about wanting to help others by making slide shows for them.
What started was making a Christmas gift for my six siblings. That has lead me to making
ones for many groups; be it groups of 2 to 200 to watch. Comments after comments were always said, like . . . "You should start a business making these!" - "You offer so much more creativity than anyone." - "I am amazed at how you work with pictures!"

Wedding Day (During Wedding)
I wanted to email you to personally thank you again for taking
time out of your schedule to do this for me. Shannon and I have
decided that this just makes the whole wedding. I finally let him
see it, and he started to cry. I told him that it is your 'mission' to
see tears. (hee hee) and he said, "Well, she succeeded."

50th Anniversary
Prepared
for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration, the DVD presentation told a
story of the life of a familer that was more than simply a
slide show. Photos, captions and music were cleverly combined
with sensitivity and humor to capture the history and the essence of
our family."

Graduation
I've known Marianne
for a number of years and knew she was hard working, thoughtful,
considerate and very supportive. When I wanted to put
together a DVD for my son upon his high school graduation...I found out
she made slide shows. I was amazed at how
she provided the framework, initiative, and inspiration for me to
gather, sort, and choose a variety of material to effectively put
together the
audio/visual celebration of my son from birth to graduation. She combined cassette
tape music, family digital and regular photos, varied sizes of video
film (that was a nightmare!), and even certificates and a bit of art into a
great DVD. I highly recommend Marianne because she is visionary, capable, practical and willing to learn
whatever is needed to provide a quality product. She took an overwhelming task,
tackled it with zeal and created a family treasure. It was a
joy to work with her.

Birthday
Recently I had a surprise
birthday party for my husband's 50th birthday. This
had all
the bells and whistles; a hat, signs, balloons. All of our
children were there and we had a great time along with many cherished
friends. The greatest moment was at the end of the party when
we
showed the slide show made by Marianne Petersen. The music
with the pictures added a wonderful fun atmosphere. The last
picture was of my husband hugging his new computer with a Hallelujah
Chorus playing while hearts flew around the screen. The crowd
roared! We watched it several times that night and several times since.

70th Birthday Party
70th Birthday party. I supplied her with the video and photos from the party and with that she ran with it. She is so creative and knows what she is doing. Working with Marianne, I felt that it is more than just a business to her. She loves what she does and she puts her heart into the project. I very much appreciated all the care she gave in making the final product. I gave the DVD to my father as a Father's Day gift and he, along with the rest of the family, loved it. I highly recommend Memories In Motion.

Business Christmas Party
We would like to take this
opportunity to express our thanks for the wonderful slide show you put together
for our California Holiday Party on December 15, 2007. We enjoyed it
immensely and the music was just perfect for the show. It was an incredible
